The Simple Bible Study Switch That Changed Everything

For a long time, I wanted my Bible study to go deeper.

I am always craving a deeper relationship with God. Not just reading a few verses and moving on with my day, but really understanding what God’s Word is saying. I wanted to notice things I hadn’t seen before. I wanted Scripture to actually shape the way that I live.

But if I’m being honest, sometimes I didn’t know where to start.

I would open my Bible with good intentions, read a chapter, and then realize I didn’t really slow down enough to reflect on what I had just read. Other times I wanted to take notes during church, but I didn’t have a good system for remembering what stood out to me.

I’ve come to realize I’m probably not the only one that feels this way. I truly believe there are countless people out there like me, striving to know God more.

So I started creating simple tools to help me stay more engaged in Scripture- things like sermon notes pages, Bible study guides, and reflection prompts. Nothing complicated. Just simple pages that help slow down the process so the Word of God has space to sink in.

And something surprising happened,

When I started writing things down- questions, observations, verses that stood out- I began noticing so much more in the Bible than I ever had before.

That;s really the heart behind this blog.

I’m no theologian. I’m just a normal girl who loves God and wants to know him more. And if you’re here, maybe you want the same thing.

This space is for people who want to grow deeper in their faith, even if they’re still figuring things out along the way.

Here you’ll find things like:

Simple Bible study tips

Encouragement for staying consistent in the Word

Sermon notes ideas

Tools that help make studying Scripture more intentional

If you’re looking for ways to engage more deeply with the Bible, I’ve also created a few study resources that you can use alongside your quiet time or church sermons.

More than anything, my hope is that this blog simply encourages you to open your Bible and spend time with God.

Because the more time we spend in His Word, the more we begin to know Him.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you”

James 4:8
