Simple Way’s You Can Share The Gospel

Becoming a Christian completely changed the trajectory of my life in a way that I can hardly explain.

For the first time in my life, I experienced a deep and lasting peace that I had never known before.

When something impacts your life in such a dramatic way, it naturally creates a desire to share it with others. After encountering the love of Jesus, I found myself wanting everyone around me to experience that same hope, peace, and joy.

I can’t possibly be the only introverted Christian out there. I simultaneously want to scream from the rooftops that a relationship with Christ will change your life, while never having any attention on myself.

The good news is that sharing the Gospel doesn’t have to be loud or intimidating. There are simple natural ways to share your faith that blend well with a quiet personality.

I’ve compiled a list of a few of my favorite methods I’ve used to spread the love of Jesus, and I pray that it helps you find the courage you’ve been looking for to do the same.

Present Yourself

The easiest, most natural way I’ve found to share the Gospel is by publicly wearing my faith.

You never know who is watching. A simple Bible verse on your shirt may inspire curiosity in the person standing behind you in line.

Even something small like a bracelet with the word “faith” could start a conversation with a co-worker or friend.

I find that when someone approaches me first, it’s much easier to talk about my faith. The hardest part for me is introducing the topic myself. By keeping my faith visible, it often opens the door for others to ask questions naturally.

How can you incorporate this into your life? One small way that I do, is by wearing my cross necklace everyday. It’s not only beautiful, but it’s a simple way to show my faith. I also love the symbolism of keeping Jesus near my heart each day.

I also love to use Christian T-shirts. This works especially well in saturated settings and places that aren’t predominantly faith centered (fairs, concerts, malls etc.) You can find great options on Etsy. I also love Elevated Faith for T-shirts, they have such cute and unique designs.

Pray Before Meals

Pray before meals, yes even in a busy restaurant, and yes, even when you go out with friends.

We should always be expressing our gratitude to the Lord for the provisions he’s blessed us with, even when we are in a social environment, and even when some of those people may be non believers.

This is another natural way that just by living life as a God loving Christian we can spark curiosity in others.

Something as simple as bowing your head for a moment of prayer can quietly demonstrate your faith.

You never know who might notice. A small act like this can very easily open the door for someone to ask about your beliefs.

Sometimes the most powerful way to share the Gospel is simply by living a Gospel filled life out in the open.

Let Your Kindness Speak

Be nice! It really can be that simple.

You can talk about the Lord until you’re blue in the face, but if you’re bearing bad fruit it won’t be received as openly.

We are representing a God who is merciful, forgiving, accepting, generous, and a multitude of other beautiful qualities. Why would people be drawn to that message if we aren’t demonstrating it in our own lives?

Showing grace and kindness is such a powerful way to share the Gospel and have a real impact on your community and even the world.

"Let your life shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." -Matthew 5:16
Share Your Testimony

Your testimony is uniquely yours. That means that you don’t need to be a Biblical scholar to share it.

experiential knowledge can be one of the most impactful tools in evangelism.

Sometimes people aren’t ready to hear a sermon, but a lot of the time people are open to hearing about a real experience. When you share how God has changed your heart, brought you peace, or guided you through a different time in life, it makes your faith relatable.

Your story might be the very thing someone else needs to hear to realize that God can work in their lives too.

Never underestimate the impact your story can have. God often uses ordinary people to reach hearts in extraordinary ways.

Final Encouragment

Evangelism doesn’t always look like standing on a stage, or preaching to a crowd. You don’t need loud acts to draw attention. Many times it can happen in the small ordinary moments of everyday life.

Whether it’s publicly wearing your faith, praying before a meal, showing kindness to others, or sharing your testimony, God can use simple acts of obedience to open doors you never expected.

You may never fully know that impact your actions have on the people around you.

Don’t underestimate the power of living your faith in the open. You never know when you are planting seeds.
